Jan describes her passion and motivation for being a chef…“As a child, my grandmother shared her secret recipes with me and it was then that I realized I wanted to become a Chef. Food, and the relationship we have with it, is of paramount importance. I love to use the freshest local ingredients in all of my cooking.” Jan has successfully taught hundreds of cooking classes, conducted many private chef events, and has a background that includes catering. She is a mother to three beautiful children and one granddaughter, two dogs, loves gardening and being outdoors. Jan led one of the city’s largest Community Supported Agriculture programs (CSA) making the “Farm to Fork” concept a reality in many homes. Being a Sous Chef with Structure House enables Jan to live her dream of sharing her passion with others. She has been with Structure House since 2017.
