Our Philosophy
Structure House is a healthy weight loss and wellness program for adult men and women. We utilize a holistic approach that integrates behavioral skills training, nutritional expertise, and fitness conditioning in a healing and supportive environment to achieve lasting results. For 40 years, Structure House has built the foundation for healthy living, sustainable weight management, and recovery from emotional overeating for thousands of individuals.
Recognizing that many individuals may need weight loss to improve their health and physical functioning, we provide evidence-based, healthy behavioral weight management. We follow science-based principles and consider individual needs to ensure that weight loss is achieved without sacrificing physical or psychological health.
Much more than a diet program, we help you develop the behaviors, attitudes, and lifestyle that will instill a lifelong (versus ‘quick-fix’) approach to healthy habits. We create long-term effectiveness by going beyond basic diet and exercise advice, letting go of ‘weight loss at all cost’ strategies, and finding a healthy balance with eating, physical activity, and self-care.

Our Personalized Approach
At Structure House, we are not a one-size-fits all program and recognize that no two people are alike. Each person’s journey toward achieving better health is going to be a completely different experience based on a person’s unique needs. Therefore, we focus on providing comprehensive, individualized care with a therapeutic focus, which will allow us to address individual differences and issues that our participants may be facing. As a result, our customized programs are based on each participant’s health-related goals, medical conditions, fitness level, and psychological needs.
In addition to our 4-week core program curriculum, we offer initial individual sessions with a registered dietitian, behavior specialist, medical nurse, and fitness specialist within the first week of arrival for New Participants and Alumni in order to ensure a customized and safe experience while at Structure House. We offer supplemental modules and individual services that complement the core program based on a participant’s preferred area of focus, which include:
- Life goals therapy
- Smoking Cessation
- Psychiatric consultation
- Bridge Module for overcoming emotional/binge eating
- Diabetes support from our multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Pre- and Post-Bariatric support care
- One-on-one support from our nutrition, fitness, massage, and medical team
Therapists with expertise in these areas can give you individualized, specific attention while you continue to work on making healthy lifestyle changes. Depending on the topic, therapy session packages are available to help you make progress in your area of choice.
